This year, the National Contact Point Austria in the EMN is contributing again to the DialogForum at the Danube University Krems. Based on a recently published EMN study the National Contact Point Austria has organized a panel focusing on different approaches in dealing with unaccompanied minors following status determination in selected EU Member states. The panel thereby aims attention at the right of residence for unaccompanied minors as well as at measures and regulations in care and integration. The panel takes place on 19th September 2018 and is moderated by Julia Rutz (Head of Research and Migration Law Unit, IOM). Invited panellists are researchers from the National Contact Points in Germany (Julian Tangermann, Federal Office for Migration and Refugees), Sweden (Jonas Hols, Swedish Migration Agency) and Austria (Maria-Alexandra Bassermannn, IOM).
