To commemorate the publication of the EMN Inform ‘Migration Diplomacy: An Analysis of Policy Approaches and Instruments’, EMN Austria organized an event in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The event focussed on a central topic: cooperation with third countries in the form of migration partnerships, which form an essential part of migration policy strategies in the EU and are also highly relevant for Austria.
How can migration partnerships be successfully implemented? What challenges arise and what solutions are available? These questions were discussed at the event, which not only offered space for a professional exchange, but also provided the opportunity to reflect on different migration policy approaches together with experts from practice and research.
