National EMN Conference Austria: “Labour Migration and its challenges In The EU – Perspectives in the EU Member States”

The conference “Labour migration and its challenges in the EU – Perspectives in the EU Member States” provided an overview of the main results of the EMN study “Satisfying labour demand through migration”. Comparisons of labour migration within the EU as well as the Austrian case were addressed in the opening lectures, followed by the presentation of further national perspectives in the course of the event. The panel discussion served as the conclusion of the event, whereby current Austrian labour market demand and the role migrants have within it were discussed.
