On 4 December 2017, the members of the Steering Committee of Austria’s National Contact Point within the European Migration Network (EMN) met for their annual meeting, now the 10th such meeting.
The National Steering Committee was established to anchor Austria’s National Contact Point within the academic research community, linking it with those stakeholders whose work focuses on migration and asylum. The Steering Committee comprises representatives from several ministries, interest groups and research institutions. During the most recent meeting, attention was drawn to specific developments and events within the EMN in 2017. The Steering Committee members were then briefed on the new EMN research topics for 2018.
