On December 6, 2023, the members of the Steering Committee of the Austrian National Contact Point met for their annual meeting, now in its 16th year. The National Steering Committee was established to anchor the Austrian National Contact Point in the academic research community with those actors whose work focuses on migration and asylum. The Steering Committee is composed of representatives from several ministries, interest groups, and research institutions. During the meeting, we provided an update on current developments within the EMN and the planned research topics for 2024.
