This year’s National Conference of the European Migration Netwerk Austria focused on the topic "The Future of Schengen".
The conference featured a keynote address by Professor Daniel Thym and brought together representatives from EU institutions, Member States, and international organizations to discuss the future of the Schengen Area across three panels. Discussions focused on Schengen governance within the European migration architecture, technologically advanced external border protection, and the external dimension of Schengen.
