To mark the publication of the EMN Inform “Prospects for displaced persons in non-EU first reception and transit countries,” EMN Austria, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior, organized a panel discussion on May 8, 2023. The discussion examined national strategies, new insights, and future challenges at the intersection of migration, displacement, and development. Among other topics, the panel explored how support measures from donor countries such as Austria can be effectively coordinated to improve the living conditions of displaced persons as well as the populations in host communities.
