Integration of applicants for international protection in the labour market

This publication summarizes key findings of the EMN study on the labour-market access and integration of applicants for international protection across 24 Member States of the EMN. It covers developments until end-2022 and offers a clear overview of national legislation, policies and support measures affecting how and when such applicants enter employment, and highlights core issues such as waiting periods, qualification recognition and language barriers. The EMN inform presents good practices and identifies remaining structural obstacles.
