Organizer: National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network

On 25 November 2016 the Members of the Steering Committee of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network (EMN) met for their, as of now 9th, annual meeting. The National Steering Committee was established in order to embed the National Contact Point Austria in the research community concerned with migration and asylum. The Steering Committee is composed of representatives from various ministries, interest groups and research institutions. Specific developments and occurrences within the EMN in 2016 were discussed in the course of the meeting. Subsequently the members of the Steering Committee were informed about the new EMN study topics for 2017.
