At this year’s International Metropolis Conference in Sydney, the National Contact Point Austria organized a panel on the topic “Migration Policies in the Context of the Increased Influx in 2014–16 in Europe”. During the panel, the National Contact Point Austria and EMN colleagues from the Netherlands and Sweden presented results of the EMN study “The Changing Influx of Asylum Seekers in 2014—2016”. In addition, the National Contact Point Austria presented at the panels „Policies to integrate newcomers into work across Europe: a lasting paradigm shift?” and „Identifying inclusive indicators to measure integration”.
